make sure its not a light leak or other stressor, cause hermies

No, sorry i wasnt clearer, i'm buying Black Gold brand soil, but its a new type called CocoBlend, it comes pre-mixed.. But the peat thing sounds interesting too!

Snap, now im worred about light leaks in my little closet.. gonna go lightproof more when they wake up now..

thanks for the info. do you keep a steady PH? if i mix my nutes up ahead of time my ph fluctuates like crazy. do you bubble the mix?

Thanks, both of you guys for the info on the brown tinge, i'd never heard this before... Right now im hoping its heat stress, and i'm about to purchase a blower for my intake to try and get temps down... If its light leaks, im going to find out tonight and fix that too..

As far as the PH, i really only have a crappy wand-type meter, and i measure with some "mud" from my water solutuion, and soil, and it seems to always read between 6.5 and 7.0 but i really dont trust the meter at all... Its one of those deals that allegedly tells you: Light Strength, Soil Fertility, PH, Soil Moisture, and with only three metal probes, and no battery..

I dont bubble the water, i just fill a barrel and then measure out the nutes, add them in, stir up real good, let sit overnight, stir again, and commence feeding.

I used lemon juice from fresh lemons to get the PH down a little in the soil when i first started because it was reading above 7.0 on my meter, and i was afraid it was too high.. I'm not very experienced with PH control, but it seems im doing ok so far?
