Pest Spray has burnt my leaves

    Hello Everyone

So she is now 18 weeks old or 4 and a half months old and now a little over five foot tall. I have a concern/question for you kind people. I read something last night that said if you start your grow too early it messes up the plant and it will grow tall but not yeild too much of the good stuff??? Apparently the best time to start an outdoors grow is June 1st???? Is this correct? I started late March! My concern......

She is already huge and hasn't started to flower yet. The packet of seeds said that the flowering stage for Frisian Dew is 7 to 8 weeks so another 2 months!!!! and that harvest should be the 1st week of October. My question is how much bloody taller is she likely to get in the next 2 months?

On the plus side she looks and smells amazing and seems happy in her new home. I'm not too concerned about the yield as it's for personal use but I would hate to have grown her for all this time and to only get like an ounce or something.

Sorry, 1st time grower stressing about nothing again I'm sure!!!

Here are some pics for you to enjoy.......

    PS. Love feedback :rasta:

No clue, Haven't grown outdoors since...high school, (30ish years or so) but if you don't get an answer in the plant problems forum you could try the outdoor forum.

This was taken a couple of days after the last pix. Currently training the buds to self-cure, self-manicure, and jump into the jug.
Actually was a prescription of Humboldt Co. Trainwreck my neighbor was showing-off. So far she said no seeds from the jar. Keeping fingers crossed, though.

Am recharging the camera batteries so will have to get pix later. But the ladies are doing fine.

Pest Spray has burnt my leaves

So there was a massive storm last night and the greenhouse blew off knocking the plant in the process. I wasn't around but got told about it this morning. Apparently the plant was leaning majorly to the point where it was almost on the ground so a friend put a stick of bambo in the soil to tie it upright again.

When I arrived to inspect the damage I noticed that all of the leaves where very droopy (I assume this would be down to stress???) Thankfully none of the branches snapped, only a few of the smaller leaves and fallen off.

I've managed to errect the greenhouse again and secure it much better this time.

Just wondering if the droppyness of the leaves is down to the stress of the whole situation or if the bambo might have damaged some of the roots??

My plan is to leave it be for a couple of days and see how it copes. Any other things I should be checking for?

    Thanks

    Ouch.
Any damage to branches or mainstem? Were any roots popping-up out of the soil? Did the pot break or did it just fall over?

Have you got it staked-up good to keep her upright?

I'd treat it like transplant shock and ease-up on nutes for a week or so, and keep an eye out for nanners. Also, I'd watch for new growth to appear, then resume normal schedule.
Likely it will stunt her a bit but at this point in her maturity, likely she can pull through with limited complaints. (think positive :thumbsup

No damage to branches and only a tiny bit of damage to mainstem (noticed a small area about half the way up which looked like she had had a thin layer scratched of her) not sure how else to explain it but it didn't look too bad.

No roots where out of the soil and as far as I'm aware the pot didn't fall over, I think it was just incredibly windy and the plant took a bit of a battering. I have put some bambo into the ground and tied it to the plant so she is now standing in an upright position. I'm going to go check on her again tomorrow so I'll post some pics of how's she's doing. FINGERS CROSSED!!!!

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your interest. So it's been a few days since my last post so I thought I would update and ask a few more questions for a change. Here goes

I have now moved her from the greenhouse as the top was hitting the roof and restricting her growth. As she is going to grow a few more feet I felt that bending her was not an option so the greenhouse had to go. As a result of her growth and the lack of space available the top of the plant looks a bit messed up but I hope this will adjust itself in the next few days???? I'm glad you've said that sex dosen't show normally till early Aug cos as of yet I have no solid evidence that she is infact a female. Just guessing and praying.

    My main question is this.

I have automatic lights that come on in the garden when something triggers it, ie a human, cat, fox or burglar etc....... I can turn this off so ultimate darkness is ensured, but I wanted to know just how sensitive plants are to light disruption during the flowering period? I live in a fairly residential area where house and street lights are slightly visible from the grow area.

Attached are the latest pics. Thanks once again guys
