how much taller?
I have some plants from bagseed in the backyard next to a fence that are 2 feet tall, this is north ca. They were planted late may and get about 7 hours of sun. I need to keep them below 5 feet tall.
I don't want to top them or lst but the question is will I have to in order to stay below the fence? If they finish by october how big could they get?dimondmyne Reviewed by dimondmyne on . how much taller? If they're indica dominant they should stay 5 or 6 feet tall. But probably your best bet is to just prune the tops and let them put on multiple colas.

how much taller?
I guess what I'm thinking is that if they are 2 feet now and it took them a month to get that big, then they will at least double or probably triple? I don't really know this is my first grow, I've never seen it done either. I think I'll bend them over. Wouldn't topping the plant now be stressful and possibly cause a male?

i have pruned b4 and got 50/50% male/female.
if its a sativa strain it could get up to 12 feet or taller.

how much taller?
I tied twine to the plants several nodes down from the top(about 6 inches) and bent them over very carefully and tied to a stake that's a few feet away. They are about 3 feet tall now. I bent them less than 45 degrees. They have since straightened themselves out at the tip, so the first two feet of plant are bending nicely but the top isn't. I'm wondering if I should try tying the twine closer to the tip so that it's constantly pointed horizontal.
On another note, since this is stress to the plant would it then be more likely to become male?

I moved the twine to the tip of the plant and bent it to 45 degrees. I came outside that night and the plant is throwing a fit, it's bending into a crazy S shape and even pointing away from the sun. I waited to long.
