Personally, I dont believe any one theory. Mankind may end, or maybe it will just be the end of an era. Maybe 12/12/2012 cwill bring about the complete understanding of the human brain, or even the discovery of the encoding of a soul in DNA. The Mayan calendar could just be a countdown to the return of the alien race(s) that provided us with our technology, or it could just be that the creators set a goal for "lets at least get to 12/12/2012, and we can start on our next project."

A quick side note, did anyone watch that one documentary about the book "Chariots of the Gods"? Interesting food for thought.:thumbsup:

Whether you believe in mine or anyone else theory or just your own I'm glad that you put your own words in this topic. Your theory could very well be true but I guess we won't find out until the time comes eh?? I'm not much of a book reader only for the fact that I don't know what book to read, I am a very open minded person but I'm limited to books. I'll have to take a look into it, would you mind giving a short summery about it?? Possibly a detailed one, possibly detailed to the point that I might find and interest in it?? That'd be cool :thumbsup:

It looks into the past and today for clues in every civilization pointing to extraterrestrials. Such as how in pretty much every religion the "gods" have come down from the sky to guide and provide, and how these civilizations have built like landing strips for aerial craft, and pictures that can only be seen as what they are from high in the sky.

The book is older, originally published in '69, the documentary is newer, but still maybe like late 90's(?). Its but covers mostly the same things as the book, but also talks to others and is a bit broader. Couldn't tell you what its called though.

If we get past this whole end of the world thing, we are going to see a lot of shit go down in the next 50 years. Think about what's happened in the passed 50 years.. in the grand scheme of things we haven't even had electricity for that long. Maybe there's another unknown power source we are completely oblivious to and haven't tapped into yet. Maybe that power source is the key to this planet's survival because we are going straight into the shitter at this rate.

The one thing that scares me about all of this is the natural disasters that have been happening at a more frequent rate and on a much bigger scale. I'm not just talking Katrina and the tsunami and that shit. Here in Winnipeg there are two rivers that meet right in the middle of the city, the Red and the Assiniboine. In 1997 there was the worst flood ever (dubbed the Flood of the Century) and everyone got flooded and shit, it sucked. The researchers and scientists and people with degrees of all sorts said that was the worst flood that would ever come. This year the rivers flooded again, worse than in '97. Just now as the rivers are starting to go back down, we heard that next year the water levels will make this year look like piss in the ocean.

Something must be throwing off the earth's balance to cause all this. I think that something is Planet X, the gigantic mass at the edge of our solar system that NASA has known about for the past 30 years and just never really told anyone that it's about to swing back through our orbit. Check these vids out. Believe want you want, but believing in this is a whole lot more fun than denying it.
