Skunk #1 Sucks

For all you out their who have never had the pleasure of exactly trying real Skunk, are missing out or have missed a chance at what skunk truly taste and smells like, not 2 mention the high. That, nowadays seems lost - except for what they call the Famous Skunk #1.

Skunk #1, has but not smell of skunkyness, except when cut it down. The taste is horrible, its like eating spicy food then drinking a soda really fast. The itchy feeling, the not so high, that really use to be their with the original skunk, is lost, as you only tend to feel the effects maybe 30 minutes, if that.

Cut out the fizzy part of skunk #1 an you've the got the classic good ole stone. That today, is sought after by many for its flavor, its taste, and most of all its high.

Why, in the world would anyone want to smoke Skunk #1. Maybe, the fact your one of those invididuals that want to smoke every different kind of marijuana, or maybe its the fact you've never had any weed outside of this so called strain "Famous Skunk #1".

Why is Amsterdam the the weed capital of the world if, they don't have the Original Skunk, without the 1? I'm clueless.

Amsterdam's got G13, but they haven't got the Original Skunk with a classic stone. So, apperently its a lost strain - an no one in the world of cannabis has the fable Skunk strain!!!

The real one, the one that smells like a Skunk, not makeup believe I wish a cross strain, that only smells like it. While, keeping those amongst many searching on an endless quest to find that strain which is, but tucked away in someone's basement or just to greedy to share a fragment of a true classic.

Skunk #1 sucks moth balls. (Period) I was hoping maybe a breeder out their understands my plight as this address more than just an issue of getting high. Which is grand, say the least or someone who has the Original strain, that hasn't hacked, cut, destoryed the very existence of what we (strain hunters) mean by Original - adding any personal touches to a classic strain - is not "ORIGINAL".

There are so many strains out there that blow the "original" skunk out the water imo. Master Kush, C99, Mango, Diablo Kush just to name a few. I guess it all comes down to preference on what kind of flavor or high you are after. imho the fruity strains cut a little early with an uplifting high is what i prefer. I am getting to old to be couch-locked all day.

Although, I don't breed and don't intend to, I grew Skunk #1 just because I was curious about its selection as a workhorse breeding strain. I agree with most of what you said. However, I find it does have a scent, somewhat like rotting fruit.

Certainly, there are better strains to grow for yield, taste and high. I believe that the Skunk is a stable line, consistent at passing along the traits that the breeders were/are looking for. Maybe like a racehorse stud, that throws winning colts but is not necessarily a winner himself?

Mazar, is the only kush or kush like variety I've tried up to this point. Not very high marks for this kind. Kinda like Cherry Bomb or Top 44, they both along the same line as far as high.

What, I thought of Skunk#1, I was thinking that it was the Original Skunk or what I read as being the closest thing to the real skunk. It was another mazar, with a undertone of skunk, an slight at that.

I know what you mean, that fluffy dank stuff that makes your eyes water with the smell, the cheese gets me fucked blue cheese, they all stink the hell out of anywhere...

about skunk #1: i fucking hate it! It sucks soo bad it should be illegal where cannabis IS legal!

Its for profit seeking dooschbags to ruin the hopes & dreams of all those around them.

It just sucks, the high is weak as hell & the taste is actually a con which is something i've not thought id say about bud. More importantly after one session with it i never want to see it again period. Stay away from this strain for humanities sake. It's used way too much for breeding in the UK.

Skunk never really had any taste to it. The smell was more like peppery, skunky, stonism. You could take one big wiff from a bag an know this stuff was gonna knock you out. Taste is something I've come to like, but the stone is something missed. Their is yet anything that comes close to that high of the past or say that stone. I can see your point on being to old to be couch-locked, but then what a great night time smoke.

It should be. I don't understand why breeder's don't use the traditional skunk in the quest to find that perfect strain. Skunk is, but the stoniest strain and one of the skunkiest. A true stone.

Screw the #1, where's the original strain that made the crave. "SKUNK."

I think thats all the western world has is skunk #1. Probally lost the original or cloned itself till the vigor was lost.
