I know exactly what your talking about.
I fix that by working out. It doesn't solve all the problems with smoking, like money-wise, but it helps with motivation and anti-socialness. It brings you commitment, confidence and motivation. The looks donā??t really bother me too much because only my close friends know I smoke and other than that I donā??t care what other people think.
I know what you mean about school. Iā??m currently in college also and I know it can be hard to balance responsibilities and entertainment. I judge how Iā??m doing in managing them both by the quality of output that I produce. (are my grades good, are my finances ok, is my life in a state of foreword motion, am I happy in spirit) If im not getting the results I want than I quit smoking and straighten my life out a little.
The first two or three days after I quit Iā??m a little off kilter but I know it will be like that before I quit and I chalk it up to ā??thatā??s the price I pay.ā? Tobacco is another matter when I try to quit I turn into a basket case.
If you donā??t like the person you are when you smoke than you know what you need to do.
Hang in there, your detox symptoms WILL end.

buck im in the same boat,i dont even know if i like the person i am when im smokeing anymore,when i smoke i get increadably happy for a while then when the smoke clears i'm severly depressed,im alot dumber on pot,when i first started tokeing i loved the way it made my mind click it was like it got all the gunk out of my gears.My grades would sky rocket after i got though a nic smokeing benge but now...well not im failing two classes,i cant think when im high,and the worst part is that i know all this and every time i spark up i know what im doing to myself but theres now way i can just put the pipe down i know im addicted.i have to be high when i wake up,i have to be high at lunch,i have to be high when i go to bed.i hate knowing that im useing a drug as a crutch to escape the real world and i know i shouldnt do such things...but i do

I know you have probably heard this tons of times but exercise is key. It gives you a natural high and makes you tired so you can sleep at night without blazing right before.

id say gradualy cut back on how much you smoke, like cut it in half and do that for a week, then cut that amount in half again for another week, then just smoke like once or twice a week and you'd proberly feel normal again.

i exercise everyday,infact i excercise while high
i lift weights everyday,run everyday but then....then i get stonned and sit around on my fat stonned ass stuffing my face

im trying to cut back at least. its not working too well for me, either, man. i usually can only get one day.. actually.. hell.. i havent been one day without pot for a while. it sucks. anymore, unless i smoke loads - a joint really only does to me what id imagine a cigarette would.

i love this post!
i agree with most of you, don't wake and bake too much and don't smoke everyday. I know it sounds crazy but you guys know that the stronger you are the more confident you become. i also do like how i feel after a workout like im super tough. i just started working out a while back and i realized i can only bench like 110-120 so i need some work. i don't suggest it but working out is crazy when your high.i know i sound weak but i never workout and im only 17. if u do a school sport and find a hobby u and your friends would both like weed will not be to big a part of your life.i say who gives a shit who knows you toke up, do what ever you what to do when your high, i know to many kids who blow off the day because they get high because they underestimate what the can do when there high so they just chill but if you try to do things high you can and with the addition of some CLEAR EYES eye drops no one will know and even without eye drops people usually just think im sick. its always crazy toking at work if you work in the restaurant business.just maxing and relaxing
