I don't recall mother nature ever making plants suffer a 36 hour dark period. Maybe i'm wrong.

36 hours huh? I would think that would stress out the plants a little too much... The 1000 watt HPS just came in. I'm gonna put the clones under it and go 18/6 for a week to get a little more growth then switch it over to 12/12. keep your fingers crossed that ive got a bunch of ladys!
