Is this a heat related issue, or a chemical related issue? If chemical, and you don't flush with huge ammounts of properly ph'd water, the chems are still burning the roots and killing the plant. So I'd flush and trim the dead crispy ones.

If it's heat related, trim the dead crispies to see what's left. This may be your best bet. You might have to wait a few days to see if there are any signs of new growth from the nodes. Save any leaf that is still green and pliable.

Topping is a last resort, as this adds tremendous stress to the plant. But if unable to restor vigor to the mainstem, or if there's no new growth in the next couple of days...top it.

(photos) (images below) It's been 24hrs since this plant was exposed to too much heat(accidental/plz don't ask), seems like the stems are shriveling which is continuing to the plant...there are a few healthy leaves with no wilt, the stem is healthy till near the top of the plant which is wilted(top). The plant was watered before the indicent It was grown from a seed(indica), with soil, 125w cfl, 100w gls, and plant feed. If I cut the top off, will it survive? Can I perform any cuts at all?
