    About creating some cannaoil

I've been looking on the forums...
Mostly because I've been looking into ways of using marijuana discreetly if I decide to use it for medical reasons. I'm not really interested in smoking it, because I've never been big on smoking in the first place.

Anyways, I've been looking at the cooking aspects of it, and every recipie for cannabis oil I've seen, requires it being chopped up really small....

Would there be any issue with dumping the cannabis and oil into the blender, and letting it whirl for a bit? Is there such a thing as TOO fine?

Well... the cannabis must be ground as fine as possible to help its absorption by the oil. As finer it is, as better.

And i think just mixing it with the oil, without heating, wouldnt work very well... heating is needed for increasing the speed the THC is dissolved.
For example: some people dissolve the weed in alcohol for making a tincture called green dragon. (BTW its also a very good way for ingesting cannabis). When they just let the weed soaking in it, without heating, it takes weeks to get an reasonable amount of THC dissolved in the alcohol. But heating it allows the tincture be made in only one hour.

I turn my leaves into "green flour" and use it in baked goods. The finer texture is better in most cases. Here is one of the larger collections of recipes-

Well, the blender thing was just pre-heating in the crock pot.....
Just as a bypassing of the grinding it up with a grinder or chopping it.
