When I was in the Navy we had this stuff we called Monkey Shit. It was like a black silly putty you would put in wire pass through from space to space. Wonder if they make something like that in the public sector.

Duct seal is what your thinking of. You could get get some at an electrical supply house.

jimmy21 Reviewed by jimmy21 on 07-01-2009. Help on light leak (cords going through wall) So on my grow closet I am running my water hoses and light cords through a 2 inch hole. Any suggestions on how to block that up so there is no light leak? Tried using some thick black paper and duct tape but that still has some leakage. Any help would be great.. Thanks Rating: 5
