Recommended reading for a beginner?
And if books are better for you Marijuana Buds For Less by had what I thought was really good information. It tells about cloning, shows the development of his grow throughout veg and flowering, daily snapshots through harvest in large format glossy printed full color photos. It also gives advice on light requirements, soil, nutes on alternating pages IIRC. There are also historical quotes on hemp or philosophy in the margins. I found it quite enjoyable.
The Marijuana Grower's Guide by Ed Rosenthal is a good one for a reference if you get one better than mine which had line drawings in black on plain paper where it was obviously intended to have color, such as nutrient deficiency charts with legends of color coding minus the colors. Like he sent xeroxes to the publisher by mistake or they screwed up the plates and didn't catch it before printing. Maybe because it's a paperback, but it does have glossies in the center and good closeups of some pests, and plenty of good trichome pictures. It has LOTS of charts and graphs too, which I'm not sure exactly how useful they are, like what time the sun rises each week at every geographic origin of the different strains
