Arrested for 2 grams in Texas - Help?

Let me start this off with a few facts.

I live in Texas.
I have extreme anxiety and don't deal with cops very well.
I barely had 2 grams.
I had a small pipe(paraphernalia).
My car was towed.
I went to jail over night and bailed the next morning.

I obtained a court appointed lawyer.

I'd like to know what is going to happen when I go to court.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to get probation but does anyone have any ideas?

I'm extremely anxious about this all the time now, I'm just worried about what might happen.

I told my lawyer this, which is true... The doctor gave me an anti-depressant which i guess I was allergic to or something... I began puking daily, up to 7 times a day. I was smoking weed because it alleviated these side-effects.

I also told my lawyer I found the weed in a park which also had the pipe in the bag with it lol, hey, weird things happen.

I guess I just need to talk about it and just forget about it til I get a court date... Surely nothing big is going to come of this... What would the judge thing of me finding weed in a park?

Already feeling better, laughing about this shit. LOL...!

My questions are serious though... I was worried about them coming to my house saying they have a warrant, I've even dreamed of such things happening. I just don't deal with cops... Nor should I have to! currently, even if they did, I have nothing.

Also, I've been pulled over since then. I don't think it was coincidence, I think they tend to be watching me. It was a state trooper both times.

i got caught with a blunt and a sack, got one year probation but that was back in 2004. I also had some friends get caught and their lawyer got them to go free so i guess it depends how good ur lawyer is.

that is pathetic your car got towed and you went to jail for that

in minnesota ive been pulled over with an 8th, and multiple pipes, not only was i not arrested, i kept my car and i received a $250 ticket for possession and the pipes

ive had buddies pulled over with 8 8ths weighed out, scale, and a personal sack of some better buds, all they give here is possession tickets unless you are over 42.5g

if it's your first drug offense, nothing too bad will happen to you. they usually offer you a 251 disposition if you agree to plead guilty, which will make you do(over a 6 month probabtionary period) 24 hours of community service and random drug tests. but if your lawyer is good enough and can find something in your case to get you free, then ur good. i dunno wat ur being charged with, if its possesion - they dont care how or where you found it, the point is you had it and you got caught. I was in a similar situation a little while ago. i live in virginia tho. I got stopped in the middle of the street by about 4 cops because there was a "peeping tom" out that was wearing the same shit as me. they ran my id and i had a bench warrant for a failure to appear in court back in richmond. i got searched(found a bag with paraphernelia and about a gram of bud), put in holding at my local jail and was bailed out night. i took care of the shit in richmond with a lawyer down there and was dismissed of both charges(community service and shit for an underage poss. of alcohol). but while I was on trial for my local possesion charge the cop that arrested me fucked up while telling his story and "forgot" when he brought the homeowner(victim of the peeping tom) to the scene to ID me(btw he never brought the homeowner over, the cop lied several times while under oath) and seeing as how my ID was ran without even checking if I was the right person to stop, the judge decided to dismiss the case and i became a FREE MAN.

lol sorry about the long ass story, thought it might help you out some. morel of the story is chill out, don't panic, talk to your lawyer about ANY questions you have. good luck!:hippy:

Thanks, like I said, I moreso just wanted to talk about the shit. lol. Calms me down I guess.

I know it won't be too big but recently, someone got caught with something a bit worse than weed and only had 3 months probation.

I feel that something good is going to happen and It'll either be thrown out or just get a slap on the wrist...
