Outdoor Grow Log: Purps & BlueCityDiesel

So the BCD has a funky, sweet, dieselly smell with a possible hint of blueberry.
And the Purps is just super sweet and fruity! Like candy and frosting up very nice. I pollenated a couple buds on my best purps with the BCD pollen. Also hit one of the BCD with a bit too.

This sunny, dry weather that I've been loving can also be a breeding ground for powdery mildew. I've seen a few leaves here and there with some spots, so I removed those leaves. One BCD in particular got a nice foliar wash of compost tea cuz she had several leaves with powdrymildew. Everything else looking great! Some pistils are turning red. It's beginning. Or ending?

38 Degrees last night. Frost warning too. I'm sure they're fine. The early fall/late spring frosts collect in the valleys and the babes are at almost 1000ft. Yes I'm in great shape. lol

I'm bored so lets talk phenotypes. Purps seems to have several from the 10 seeds I got.
Pic1: 5-6ft tall, purple main stem, no nodes till the very top 1-2ft. Then several nodes and some very nice buds. Pollenated this one with BCD. Had another one just like this, but with a green stem. Ripped it thinking it was male but I may have been wrong.

Pic2: LST, many nodes, nice and bushy, purple stems, very slow in the flowering process. Not sure if it will yield much. 4-5ft tall

Another type(no pic): small and bushy, 3-4ft tall, fastest so far, 50% red pistils. Quality, but small buds. Maybe a 1/2 oz dried?

Another type(no pic):4-5ft tall, Long purple stem, nodes beginning at top 1-2 ft of plant, no branches though, just buds right along the main stem. Very low yield.

    Pics 1-3 BCD 4-5 Purps

I snipped a tester bud from the farthest along purps yesterday to check potency... and because I'm dry. Toasted her in the oven at about 180deg. for just under 10 minutes. The bowl produced an instant, deep, body stone. I got all giddy and was tingly all over. Watched this crazy movie and melted into the lazyboy. This is gonna be some good herb when dried and cured. She could use a few more days but there's rain coming. Could take her tomorrow? The rest still need a good week+ though.

Hit 3 of the slackers with some different nutes for one last feeding. I'm outta bat shit so I used fish emulsion cuz it's all I had. Hopefully this will bring them up to par with the rest. I will flush these before harvest. There's just something about fish fertilizer that tells me I should. I will not flush the "bat guano only" plants cuz they just don't need it.

Harvested one purps yesterday. It poured rain all day today and is expected to shower for the next few days. The plants could use another week to finish though. I'll just keep an eye on them for mold etc, and play it by ear. I've harvested in the rain more times than not, so why should this year be any different?

Removed a few bud rotten branches today. Wasn't too bad.
Also, it seems as though the BCD I pollinated is growing seeds everywhere except the few bud sites I actually pollinated. Maybe the neighboring male opened a flower before I removed it? So it looks like I'll have many more BCD seeds than expected. If it's too much of an issue I will sacrifice the plant to the hash screen. I'm not worried. This strain is looking excellent and I'm happy to have these seeds.

Whiffed a purps bud I removed and boy did it smell like grapes! Yummy! No seeds in this one!
