my skunk 1 baby plant is in a bad state can anyone help please
Hi People can anyone help me with this one???
I have 2 skunk 1 plants growing there are only 1 week old and one of the plants have turned yellow on the leaves and have curled up and dryed up on the end of the leaves
My PH is correct it is at 6.5
They are growing in miricle grow soil
If anyone can advise what this can be and also what i can do to save the plant as there is still life init as some of the new leaves that are really small just coming through look ok.
I would also like to know, when you flush the soil with water will it not be too much for the plant? such as drowning it?
Both plants are growing side by side under florecent and plant 2 is looking really well.
Thanks

From what you given me, along with no pics, I have 2 possible problems. More than likely it is going to be the 1st one.
ok, your using miracle grow soil, right? You didnt mention what kind it is so I'll guess its the regular stuff. Sometimes it (the soil) will have too many nutes in it for young seedlings only a week old, such as yours. It will burn them right up. This could be your problem. It happened to me before, got some but not all.
Could just be a weak seed, that does happen where they just dont have it. They will just die for no apparent reason.
One thing, I wouldnt do is flush them. For one, the nutes are time release, so that just wouldn't work. And for two, you would just drown those poor things by flushing a week old seedling.
Your best bet, find some soil for seedlings. Something with little or no nutes in it. Then carefully, very carefully tranplant those bitches. If you wanna risk it and leave them in the MG, go ahead but I think if you wanna be 100% sure they pull through, transplant.
Peace

Doubtful it's the Miracle Grow soil, as I have never had a problem with using it for seedlings. Clones can be tricky, but it isn't the big bad no-no everyone makes it out to be.
Filling-out the troubleshooting form in my signature will help us better understand their enviornment.
You didn't feed them anything other than water at the proper ph, did you? If so, flush well with properly ph'd water, and don't feed anything for about 3 to 4 weeks. Resume watering schedule once soil has dried-out a tad. Once you start feeding, do so at half-strength and gradually increase as they acclimate.

you're having trouble is that you haven't bothered to learn even the ABC's of
growing! ...it takes more than popping 2 beans to make you a cultivator!
every word you typed proved you didn't even bother to do a search! ...let alone,
read the threads that contained your answers.
what you need to understand is that if all you do is type questions and then
wait patiently, and then impatiently, for answers, pretty soon you'll get pissed
and go away 'cause no-one ever answers your questions.
what's sad is that that happens all the time! ...and usually the noobs who storm
away in a huff never understand why they never got any answers to their questions!
like i already said, you can't just ask questions and then wait, if you do, you may
wait a LONG time! ...what you need to do is click the 'Search' button at the top
of the page and ask your question THERE first, then read through a few threads
and you'll not only get answers to the questions you asked, you'll get a few
for questions you don't know enough to ask yet! (you'll also earn some respect
from those of us who have spent many, many hours studying)
btw, on my first ever attempt to grow my own, i popped 30 beans and killed them ALL!
so i popped 30 more and went to Borders Books and spent $25.00 USD and bought
myself a copy of Greg Greens book (i had no internet access at the time).
of that 30, 5 survived and 4 turned out to be female. ...i still have a mom of the best
of the 4 fems as it was from my first ever successful grow and also my first ever
successful re-veg!
btw, i learned my chops with bagseed as i knew, even at the very beginning,
that i didn't know shit! ...so i knew i would suffer losses, lol.
and like i said earlier, i truly hope you don't take this post the wrong way, i could
just have ignored you and not wasted my time with one more noob!
but i'm a firm believer in the concept contained in the saying 'Give a man a fish and
he eats for that day, teach a man how to fish for himself and he eats EVERY day'!
i also believe in paying it forward! ...this is me teaching you how to fish, grasshopper!
so don't go away in a huff feeling all offended, ...stay and learn, ...stay and become
a cultivator! ...stay and become one of us!
