Transplanting clones to hydroton based bucket
Am about to start cloning two of my daughters and wanted to know a few things before getting started.
Will be using a three gallon bucket, with a top that has the net bucket built in, approximately 6" wide and 5" deep. Plan on having two air stones connecting to one pump with two lines.
The clones will be rooted in "ReadyGro SuperPlugs". Once the clones have successfully rooted and are ready to be transplanted, Am transplanting them into hydroton, should I have the water level in the bucket such that the roots are submerged or should I have the roots above the water line?
Should I have a pump, inside the bucket, that will pump water up out of the bucket and onto the hydroton? Or should I just water the clones by hand?
Any help you can offer is appreciated!
Thank you,
