medical pot in uk?

Hi there!
I'm new to the forum
I would like to find out if medical pot can be obtained in the uk?
I am a long serving opiate addict,who wishes to obtain medical pot for a variety of reasons
My doctor has said he would help in verifying my need
As well as wishing to cut(and give up some time) my methadone script,I have bad back problems,and am recovering from hep c
The drugs used to cure the hep are pretty awful
Any info?

Canada has a cure for Hep C....my sister has it.... went threw the year long shot treatment here in the USA that cost her $12,000.00 for a treatment but the hep came back......Now shes going to be cured in Canada for alot less $$

Yep,I went through the same deal here in the uk
A shot in the leg every month!
It's gone and the tests after a while after have showed no viral load or sign of the virus
I was just interested in the deal with med.pot here in the uk?
The whole course has left me weak and for other reasons I've been trying to find somewhere to source med.pot

That's a lot of money your sis spent!
One of the good things here is that medical care is free
(it took 2 years for them to decide to treat me though!)
