The marijuana plant has nutrients stored in those seedling leaves to get it going in the world, once those are gone it then relies on the root system that has established over its seedling phase. you are correct about the cotyledon containing nutes. i've however seen big, mature plants with them still on and as green as ever. some say this is a way to judge the health of your plants.


feeding nutes to seedlings in hydro is fine, as some of you have said.

correct me if i'm wrong about the nutes, but it is either general hydroponics or advanced nutrients that ARE formulated specifically for cannabis? i know it's one or the other.
