you might wanna start em in seedling starter soil in solo cups until they're about two weeks old (or when they reach 5 nodes) then transfer em to another pot (i think i used 6 inch diam pots) with regular potting soil and the 10-10-10 nutrients. then when you want to start flower, transfer then to gallon buckets and use nutes that are heavier in phosphorus (the second number, so a good example would be 5-15-5 or some such ratio so that the second number is much higher). Also, you need more lights. when they are wee lasses, a couple of desk lights will do, but once they get bigger you should add more CFLs. once they are about a week old you can put a fan on them. keep in mind that having a fan directly on the plants will not only make their stems stronger, but it will dry out the soil faster, so you might have to water more frequently.

i recommend keeping the plants on a 24/0 light schedule just because its a lot easier and it wont suck up too much juice b/c you are using CFLs.

I'm not looking for high yields or top medicinal quality, but just for fun to see if I can grow some weed. I want small compact plants. So here is what I'm thinking: I can't say that I have done alot of reading, but who does? :P Space: - A small 1x1 meter area - 1x1x <0.5 meter tub for maybe about ~4 plants? - a tinfoil dome-shaped like structure above the lights for reflection Rating: 5
