    DRY ICE / CO2 ????

    Can one not use Dry Ice as a form of producing Co2 ?? .. Would it work out just fine ? / Why would it NOT work ? .. thanks

    since dry ice is CO2 that has been pressurized and frozen, yes it will work.

    caution with the temperature.. it IS dry ICE.. and can definitely cool a place down..

    i used to run a homemade a/c with dry ice.. rubbermade filled with antifreeze and 2 'submerged' buckets with dry ice in it and copper pipes pumping the antifreeze around a fan.. cooled down my room by 20ºF in less than half an hour.. i used to use water and ice but that jus kept leavin me with shitloads of warm water to dump out or recycle.. not to mention the condensation that collected on the pipes the bin and the fan..
