First time in control

here we go... started from seed and actually got the 4 at about 2 inches in height. they are white widow and i'm about 2months 2 weeks in. The 2 that are the biggest are over 16 inches and then there's the stunted one at 5 inches. i've tried to feed more N but no luck, just chem burn. and also gave a bigger pot, but little or no growth. They are all on the 18/6 light cycle and the 2 smallest are clones from the larger two. I took a little early just to ensure that I get something out of this.....ha.... There's one that I'm bending around and the stem is huge, but it's creating enormous shoots going upward.... I read about this technq. and it's amazing, can't wait to see what happens when I flower. I want to flower at least 4 if female so let's say I flower at 3 ft and expect it still to grow, I can get ahold of a MH 400w but that doesn't seem like enough.

I'm growing in a 4'X2' closet and the ventalation is poor but if I keep open/closeing the door then its fine. Three started at the same time, but it's amazing how different they all are. I'm seeing some amazing full growth from the #1, however the #2 is not filling out so well, I think she's cramped by 5 plants in the closet. but that'll change today. I've decided to flower the one (#1) for sure, (really the decision came down to running out of room in the Veg. closet and to poss. get ahold of some differenct strains soon.)#3 is being bend left, right and all over. It's looking like there could be 8 or more tops to the thing, going to let it Veg more cuz it's only 14 inch. tall and pretty skimpy.

Seeing these babies grow up is just like my kids, different though. huh? well I've had a stunted one that I just decided to flower with #1, really the decision came cuz of space. Even that's changed, I've had to make another area completely and outta styrofoam.... I made a promise to myself that I'd use this shit for the rest of my life and not let it into the environment, it's the least I can do.

I was a skeptic at first but it's been a week and I think the smell is gone,(used a variety of things from caulking to paint to make it work) They are staying the night tonight. Got my 8 CFL's 23 W and 2700K and 2X 2' 40W so I'm thking that might be enough. Until the guy I got the styrofoam from gave me a retard plant that he cant get to grow, then it flowred on him. He's admist building a room for 15-20 plnts. and this one is kinda in the way. So I've adopted it, & a 400 W MH ..... that I can't comlain about. REALLY... So things have changed tremendously. OH yeah and there was a special gift in my last bag of Nirvana, 2 seed. and ONE sprouted overnight in the ziplock bggy...NO SH*T. It caught me offguard and unprepared.... but she's safely planted and in high humidity in a cozy spot next to the ballast. Got a BubbleGum seed just yesterday too and am gonna wait a bit, things need to slow down and I need $$$$$$ to get this right.... would kill myself if I spoiled a good seed.... and they look mature and ready to give life..... and give me SMOKE> :rastasmoke:

Well that was an interesting couple of days. So My buddy who dropped the one little white widow on me,(&the 400Watt MH ) is one pot w/three plants in it, flowering. This thing looks like it should be dead. Anyway, I put it w/#1 to continue to flower and put the MH up in the Veg room. there's where the ooopps comes in .... it caused them to start to flower. SO now the 4 i wanted to keep growing are starting to sex. Now I've put the MH in the flowering room took out my 2 ft flo. kept the CFL just cuz of the space thing. Bought some CFL's for the veg closet and damn is it bright. but beautiful. so i'm giving it a couple of days and we'll see if they will keep vegin' they did shoot some pistils but only a couple per plant. and the one that I'm stressing for the 8 tops is darkening. COOL LOOK I'll get pics up later I PROMISE>>

sounds good man, get some pics up, wierd that they started to flower just by changing the light speectrum. I vegged my girls for 3.5 weeks before putting her into flower. I read that you can wait longer but in the end they will be really tall, and let me tell you, my girl was the smallest of 5 plants, 4 male, In the first 3 weeks of flower she went from 13-15 inches to 33-35 inches, I was scared she wouldnt stop lol, but she did. You said your vegging using cfls? so am I, it sucks tho b.c they dont have the penitration HID lamps have. Im using less that 250 watts of cfl lights, yet a MH 250 watt would work so much better. Anyways, lookingforward to the pics

I found a short in one of my connections as well so the dark stage went a little long on one night,(like 10hrs) what a f*ck up. yeah I know what you mean about the height... I think I underestimated the growth in the flowering stage also, the heighth of my styro-room is a little low. but I rigged it so the MH isn't even IN the room therefor keeping the heat out also. Yeah I'm really disappointed w/the CFL's. I'm useing them in the flower room also but it's really just to balance out some shadow-y areas. I could really use a MH bulb for VEGing or something more. I am going to also try UVB light in the flowering stage soon.

so I've just had some crazyness around here and had to stumble into the current status of 2 grow areas, only 5 plants total now... clonning 2 tomm. and got a sprout of some killer Nirvana that just shot up like and inch overnight. Will get some new pics of the amazing white widow that has been flowering for about 30 days or so... holy shit this thing is on steroids for only being 2ft. I cant believe the size of the white hairs.... they are like and inch long... no shit. trying to get some good pics but they just dont do it justice. The one that I call Stumpy has bloomed nicely, producing an amazing top. about top 4 inch is all ripe with budz, can't even see the stem.. aaaahhh can't't wait... be back soon.
