    here we go...
S=Answer if you grow traditional soil
E= EVERYONE needs to answer lol!

    E-indoor
    E-soil
    S-Miacle Grow Potting Mix
    S-adding nutes - miracle grow 30-10-10
    S- ph is always btwn. 6.7 - 7.2
    E-distilled water
    E-3 plants r 2 months old and 2 are 3 weeks
E-Rate of diluted fert at first 2 weeks of applying. then increased to recomend dosage. however with the stunted growth I'm worried about I just added a higher dosage thinking this would increase the growth but instead I knowingly burnt the SH*T out of it... already flushed the soil and it is looking better but we'll see
E-Florescent lights but that's not it....the others r doing good
E- Air tmp btwn 66deg F & 88 during day when hot outside
E- always under 44% and never below 20%
    E-18 on 6 off
E-2 fans, one blowing up under one of the plants( to move the heat up ) and the other blowing in or out depending on the temp in the closet and my desgression. air flow is surprisingly good but I almost always have the closet door open as well and Ive moved them into the sunlight in the kithcen at least a dozen times.

so why is it that the stunted growth is just that one. seems the others are doing good at 17 inc. when this one is a foot behind???WTF????

BTW.. the clones are doing amazing as well, only at 3 weeks the one shot up an inch almost overnight.

I would say a calcium deficiency (from the distilled water) ... don't use distilled water ... add Cal-Mag+, 10ml per gallon, and change water sources ... distilled water has all minerals missing - calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, sulfur, etc., etc . ... tapwater is usually OK, just let it sit out overnite, the chlorine dissipates ... check the pH, and there ya go ... your soil looks pretty compacted, next time, add more Perlite, and fill the containers, close to their tops ... good luck ... :smokin:

what do u think about mineral water, direct co2 to the roots. I've heard that from several old timers. ph has always been okay but the soil is very compact so how do I fix this besides puching (airating) the soil by hand.

Roots need o2..not co2. You can use some hydrogen peroxide (h2o2) to add some oxygen to your roots. The h2o2 turns into h2o and releases an oxygen molecule. I'm using the 30% stuff and toss a cap-full into my 2 gal water bucket. I just use tap water.

There's not much you can do with the soil your plants are already in without getting your plants all pissed off at you. When you transplant, use a more airy mix. I've used that same miracle grow potting mix and my buckets were like buckets of cement....really heavy even when the soil was dry.

I'm getting really fond of adding coco peat to my soil to make it fluffy and airy. I'm playing with different mixes, but I use at least 1:1 coco to soil. 2:1 coco to soil might be even better.

Those small pellets of styrofoam is perilite and it's properties are nothing like styrofoam. Perilite can absorb water and let air pass through it whereas styrofoam does not.

Mineral water might be good for plants, I don't know cuz I never tried it. It might be good for an experiment down the road using a control plant and a mineral watered plant side by side. But I've always been under the impression that roots need o2.

The ph of mineral water from natural springs can range from 5.5ish up to 8.4ish, depending on the location it's harvested from...so adjusting ph may be necessary.

Plus, there's the micro's like sulphur, calcium, magnesium, which if added with every watering can build-up. Personally, if I wanted those compounds in my water, I'd add them myself, at the quantities and times I desire. (molasses)

I am curious why plants would absorb CO2, strip the carbon atom off, and transpire O2...just to re-absorb the O2 through the root system later. My guess is it's air that's necessary, and that it's not necessarily just the oxygen the plant is after. Just a guess, though.

Careful using H2O2 in soil...it can kill the beneficial biotics and the roots themselves if overused.

Not sure about styrofoam...other than the ecological damage it does.

Image has you on the right track.
