    friend gave me a 400 watt MH

    I got a 400watt mh from a friend. The bulb reads 400 watt topstar.


    But the lamp/ballast combo (hydrofarm) says 250watt. I plugged it in and it took about 3 minutes to warm up but goes bright white... is this safe?
