Clones will probably be ready to flower, and it SHOULD be more reliable in it's phenotype, coming from a mother of known quality. Also they should be ready to flower I think, but I've never bought a clone before so I'm not sure if they're mature or not. BUT, you can bring pests and diseases in with clones. Seeds can have a lot of variability, but you can store them in tiny containers and grow them at your convenience. Seeds may be less expensive, at least I would think so.
