middie, it sounds like you have a fairly ideal situation for bud rot - warm and wet (high humidity). The best things you can do are lower humidity and increase air circulation. Since the plant is outdoors, you can't lower humidity, but you can increase air circulation by pruning back fan leaves.
Just keep a close eye on the plant for a browning/rotting area - prune any such area. And, you may want to harvest the entire bud on which the rot has begun. I would probably go ahead and remove any such infected area prior to drying and curing.
Also, there is a product called Serenade. It is an organic fungicide from what little I know about it - I've never used it, but only heard about it. It is supposed to destroy the bud rot bacteria, without causing harm to the plant.
I hope I provided some help.

I'm growing bbxak from joey weed that isn't an auto variety but the little suckers apprear to be beginning to flower at 2ft. tall. I'm in ny and this rain is a bitch. Apart from harvest size my biggest concern is bud rot and mold, you don't have to be psychic to see this one coming. I have a 3-in-1 fungicide pesticide miticide from garden safe that has always helped in the past, it's pretty much my only weapon as it is, however very ineffective if therain just washes it off. I guess we should just cross our fingers for some damn sun and hope summer is kinder.
My posts are completely hypothetical fiction. The photographs I post were found on the internet. I only post on these forums as a kind of fantasy gardening.
