2. I just found out that my plant that's in a 5 gallon bucket is a girl. It's been doing great ever since I started it in April. However, I went out to see it this morning, and the leaves look a little droopy. Please tell me it's not getting root bound. I really dont want to have to transplant. That's how good it looks. I'm afraid I'll mess up the roots. I thought a 5 gal bucket would be plenty of space for the roots. Was I wrong? I just watered it. It feels like it's 100 degrees in the ATL today. Please tell me 5 gal's of root space is enough? It's about 3 1/2 ft tall. Thanks guys and gals.
They should be ok, don't stress it. Usually if there still is some growth it will be alright. The fan leaves won't grow back out (rejuvenate it's tips like a lizard and it's tail), but new growth should come out just fine. It may take a few days before growth starts again, but then again it may just continue to grow being that it is outside. It should be enough, you may be overwatering or it may be too humid. I know when I lived in SC when I was younger, it used to be ridiculously sticky. It would rain then it would get worse. Ugh I hate it now that I'm thinking about it....Anywho, no real way to tell though without some pictures and a fill out of A Troubleshooting form! Yay! You know you wanted one!
