Had back stage passes, been out there for a while after the gig, they were signing albums and shit, my mate and I got to the table and he plucked a number out of his jeans and sparked up, had a chuff, reached out and handed it to JD.. who took it and had a gd drag, he handed it to me, I did the same.
Then he looked at us and said "you better get the fuck out of here" while smiling.
We saw a couple guards coming towards us so we bailed in a hurry, left the area as soon as we could, and disappeared into what was left of the crowd.
My mate still has the roach.
Geezus.. now that I think about it.. that was 12 years ago!!
