re-veg or what?
what's good everyone? i've got a question for the fine minds that make up our little community here.
i've got 6 ladies, that have been in flower for ~50 days. the buds are getting nice and big, but mostly more towards the middle 2/3 of the main cola. they have not been topped/fimmed or LST'd or anything.
they are starting to get nice and trichy, mostly clear with a few cloudy. the pistils are all white with a very occasional red.
they seem to have an abnormal amount of new growth coming out of the main cola. my question is are they trying to re-veg?
the plants themselves have a shit-ton of leaves, both fan and sugar (this is the name, no?). should i be pruning these ladies?
as far as nutes go, i'm following the fox farm schedule, both liquid and solubles with not other additives. my pH is good, 6.3. ligths, temp etc are fine. it just looks like they want to grow more.
any ideas?
also, a second question (sorry for the false advertisement about just the one!). would it be better to chop one or all of these ladies as i have a mega bush that i just started flowering. it's actually a re-veg (on purpose this time) that is gonna be a monster!
thanks for the time and help.

If you have a light leak..then they might try to re-veg.It doesn't really look like 50 day's worth of flower...

re-veg or what?
i suppose it could be a light leak. if it is though i couldn't imagine that it'd be enough to make them re-veg. damnit.
suggestions, other than keep the light out of there! should i chop them?
i guess i'm gonna have to start covering the box with something. damn, damn, damn.
it's always something.

What type of box are you growing in? Im curious of how much of a light leak it takes to do this.

Most of my sativa dom's will have a final stretch at around five to six weeks or so, then take another month or so to fill-in and finish. The ladies below are at around 6 weeks. (tallest is approaching 4 feet tall) They're a Northern Lights x Inca Spirit strain I crossed a while back.
I'd leave the foliage alone, as this adds time for healing before they finish, and the stress can do weird things to cannabis in flower.
Besides the FF nutes, are you using anything with nitrogen in it? (can add to the stretch)
How fresh are your bulbs?
They (your ladies) have a way to go, but I understand the re-veg situation. Those things can get pretty bulky. That's a major reason why I love the technique.
6 flowering ladies in a box? I think you're gonna need a bigger box. Got anything closet-sized with an air conditioner?
If trich's are milky, (or rusty) you can harvest early, but yield will suffer tremendously.

re-veg or what?
Maybe try and make the dark time longer by an hour or so. Go to 14 dark, 10 light and the plant should get the hint that it should be flowering.
I read somewhere that sativa strains can be like that cuz they are from near the equator where the length of days changes the least. The longest day of the year at the equator is much shorter than the longest day in the summer up north. 12/12 is almost normal natural veg lighting that plants get at the equator.
From wikipedia: Day length - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"On the Equator, the length of day is not exactly 12 hours all the year round, but rather â?? due to atmospheric refraction and the size of the Sun â?? exceeds 12 hours by about 7 minutes each day;"
So, yea, I'd make sure you have no light leaks and increase the dark time by an hour or two if you're having reveg probs, especially with sativa strains. Something to try anyway without having to chop anything down.

yeah, i had six ladies in the box. it's all been an on-the-fly learning experience. i haven't had the same variables for any of my three harvests. i've just been trying to work on what's best for my size of space. six was definitely too many, but i just couldn't chop any.
i'm gonna have to try to finish in 3 gallon containers. maybe smaller if i go hempy buckets. i'm still researching all of that.
i wish i had a closet! i have a friend that says i can use her utility room. so that's a possibility, or a tent is in my future i think.

i ended up pulling 3 1/2 oz. not to bad for some ladies that weren't even close to being ready.
live and learn. thanks or all of the help and info! you guys rock.
sorry for the hiatus!
