    Storing Bud.

Hey guys, I'm going to need to store some bud for about a week and a half. I'm going on a trip and I won't be around for that duration. Got an oz of some haze that I need to keep fresh.

Any ideas that'll keep my bud from going dry?

    Thanks Guys.

I would say in an airtight jar and a bit of a moist paper towel suspended from the lid, off the buds

    And cool and dark too.

I wouldn't mess with excess moisture in a jar, breeding ground for mold if there is any light or heat. Toss in a bit of orange peel if it's dry. If it's a good cured bud then just leave her be.

Im not saying its not, but its worked for me more than a few times without any bad effects. Just a strip of paper towel like 3"x1" moistened then squeezed out taped to the top. Also, orange peels can mold pretty quickly depending on the age of the orange and the organic material breaking down. Plus, I just dont like the citrus scent and taste the peels leave.

But if you dont mind the taste and smell, go buy some fresh oranges and youre set.

I've found the freezer works and yer "dank bud" won't get moldy. Just cold. It'll be as fresh as the day you got it if you put it in an airtight container and toss it in the freezer.

I wouldn't store bud below freezing for any amount of time. Water that is trapped inside will expand and those expanded crystals will rupture things like plant tissue and resin heads and the like. The only way around this is to flash freeze it, and that's way too much of a headache for a 10 day trip.

Go with the jars. If you keep the jar tight and in the dark it will stay fresh for longer than you will probably keep it
