Yes, it won't be that hard to wire it up, but like the other guy said, you have to make sure you wire for the right voltage. It might be set up for 240v or something like that. Not hard, everything is labeled, just gotta make sure you use the right screw nuts.

I trying to switch from CFL's to HID for optimal yield. I know I need a ballast now to provide power to the bulb. My question - Can I take apart this HPS commercial light fixture(see below pic), which has a built-in 250w ballast, and steal its ballast?
