    2 things here:

1)Too little information about your current grow operation.

2)You won't find the best nutrients at Lowes or Walmart.

Ok well im just looking for some nutrients that will help the plant, because i dont have any atm.

As of now i need a few more lights, since its not growing at the rate it should be, (or compared to other peoples grows on here)
Only one 23 watt cfl atm,
Going today to pick up a few more and hopfuly a baslist for like 3-4 lights.

Are you vegging right now or flowering - this will make a difference in the type of nutes you need.

Yes, I assume one 23-watt CFL isn't enough, unless youre at the seedling stage.

If i were you, I would get some Schultz all purpose plant food (10-15-10). This can be found at a lot of places. Wait until the 2nd or 3rd week until feeding your plants; ALSO, make sure you start off with either half or quarter of the recommended amount, until you figure out what your plant can handle.

As a user of cheap nutes, I currently used Miracid for veg (30-10-10). Other growers don't like Miracle Grow products - but frankly, this is an effective nute for beginners that don't have Hydro shops to sell FF and other sorts.

I'd say w/e is easier to find, use that nute for veg

When you begin flowering, you'll need a different nutrient, but don't worry about that immediately. Try to focus on lighting and veg nutrients for now.

how small? you shouldn't be giving nutes until your plant has opposite leaves (some call them alternating, although as i've been reading more this is not the correct term). what this means is that your fan leaves are growing out of opposite sides of the stem. so you will have a set of leaves, then at the next node up they will be 90 degrees opposite. this indicates a mature plant.

get something high in nitrogen, not too high in phosphorus, and somewhat high in potassium.

start with half strenght or so and work your way up.

Ok 1st off if you are having problems keeping it from dieing then don't give it any nutrients. I would stat by getting alittle more light like you said. If it is still small then 1 CFL will be ok but keep it close to the plant. also make sure you have a light air flow over it. 2nd you don't need a ballast for CFLs. you only need one if you are running HIDs or tube floros. Just keep you waters PH at around 6.5-6.8 for soil and 6.0 for hydro. Keep it simple.

I like to keep my PH at 6.8 before watering considering the run off will bring you to about 6.5....that's just me though
