If you do see any nanners on your female plant, you can try to pick them off. Not sure how much dexterity you still have in the hands, but if you can manage, pull one off and take a look at it. If it's a male flower and you roll it between your fingers, it should break up into about 5 skinny oblong pieces, and it may or may not have some pollen in it. It should also be either white, green, or pink on the inside. I suppose that could be one way to know for sure. Let us know if you see anything else, I'm always lingering, even if I'm not posting
