What I do if it feels like it's drying to fast is to go ahead and put them in jars and keep it sealed for 24 hrs. That should draw the moisture out from the center of the buds. May take a little longer to cure properly, but it will help from the drying to fast.

Well Italiano, thats what i did. But everyday i gotta leave the lids off, because over night it gets pretty moist. I put the lid on over night, then its getting to moist. So, im doing lid on, lid off each day. The stuff was bone dry going in the jar, but after one night it gets to moist. So il do this awhile till i can leave the lids on for longer periods of time till there done:thumbsup::rasta:

I am going to do everything or as much as i can to prove a point. People can do anything if they put there mind to it. Plus my first grow lasted me 8 months :rasta: In a few days il get some outside pic's. The only thing i couldnt do was stick em in the premo soil thats around my place. For 40 years cattle had the run of the land, then i had my house built on it. Nice dark soil! Some bag seed i liked, cuz the border control took my KUSH AND Rating: 5

Probably need to cure it in the bags a little longer before putting in the jars.

Down here in humidity central I lay my harvest out on a screen and let it sit for two weeks before putting in bags or jars. Better safe than sorry, mold can pop up real quick if seal up to early.

Well i guess i should have taken the mold issue more serious, because i was opening each jar for a few hours a day and everything was great, till i though id let it go a day. I could see the beginning of mold after one day. I opened the jars over night and looked at the buds more closely. Thank the weed gods that it just started and i was able to nip it in the bud<pun intended
I have it under control now, but shouldn't have taken it so lightly and wont next time :rasta:

I lost 4 oz of two strains my first time curing. Thought it was ready to be sealed up and came back to check on it a few days later and had to throw it out. It was the top cola's too and I had to wait another week to have some smokeable weed.

Wow thats a lot! Im lucky i keep it right by my bed, so iv been checking it in the morning and before i go to bed. Also, it was just a little bit here and there. I got em open now and will let them be for a few hours:thumbsup::rasta:

Im working on an indoor grow soon. I need a few more lights and someone to help me wire everything together. Im thinking two plants with one for a mother plant. I need some better nutes and wondered if i can blow my intake from the plant down into my shower drain. I saw a thread on it, but much larger then i would try. Stays cool in there too, but with cfl's im thinking the heat will be fine. Im settin it up in my bathroom.

The girl that live here gets these display shelves and i think it will be great for two plants. Il put a link here for company to stop by and watch me mess this one up. But i got really good seeds now. Im feelin lucky:rasta:

Well if you grow in the bathroom, usually there is a outtake fan in the ceiling for when you do-the-do. LOL That would work to an extent I would think to draw the hot air out. An oscillating fan should be good to circulate that air in the bathroom.

Maybe an easier way for you use the CFL in numbers are splitters. You can purchase them almost anywhere. Wal-mart sells them for like $2 each. You can get three for each fixture and run 4 CFL off each one. That's what I did in my previous grows. I have 3 heavy duty power cords that I run 4 CFL on each. Had no problems yet. Purchased the cords at my local hardware store.

Either way, I'm here whenever you start!

i used cheap on extension cords that i chopped the end off. like $.90 at wal-mart. i run like 9 or so bulbs on each one with no problems. i'll be hanging around too!

Hey Shake i saw how ya got your lights set up:thumbsup:. I was thinking of making a model of what you have, but then i found what im growing in. Im not sure they will fit. A guess would be about 2' x 2' x 4'. I was thinking of putting my 65W - 2700 Lumen light at the top of this shelf, then iv been buying these 23W-1750 Lumen per 2 pack. I have 4 and after i get two more i thought about germing a few seeds. I will get a pic of this thing, but im thinking i can only grow two plants in it. When i saw it, i flipped out, cuz i think this shelf will work out perfect. I was thinking of just hanging the cfl's to the bottom shelf and an equal amount to the top shelf. So, it would be 6-23W CFL's and the 65W at the very top. This thing is small but roomier. I can always add more CFL's.

I had someone pick up some soil, but its the kind that feeds for 9 months i think. Not sure if i should use it or not. I know its not advised, but if im not adding a bunch of nutes i think it would work. Il get the numbers later, but it said that things are coated with a fert to release as time goes. As of now i dont have other soil, a thermostat and Ph testing kit. But other then that iv picked up things as i go. I hope i can get this started, because i feel so bored with nothing to grow.

Hey Italiao, thank you too for all the help:thumbsup: cuz man iv needed it. Iv looked at those splitters, Shake has a great set up like that. Where do ya get the cfl's that cheep, cuz im paying $10.00 for 2 lights? They are 23W'ers? I hope to get a pic of this shelf i want to use to grow in. Its small, but hell im growin two plants, im new and if im lucky i will cut clones to veg out and figure out a different place in the house to clone up for next years outdoor project:thumbsup:
