By 40 days, they should show preflowers. I've never had to sex my plants by cloning and putting the clone in 12/12, they always show preflowers after about 4 weeks of vegging. Are you sure there aren't any preflowers on your plants already?

Hello could anyone help me with this topic...Here is my question, I have about 14 plants that are about 15-16 inches tall and the ones i want to sex are about 40 days old. They all are an outdoor grow but in pots. I was wondering if I could take a few indoors and put them into 12/12 just for about 2 weeks or until the first signs of sex start to show..
