Sexing My Plants!! QUESTION!!

Hello could anyone help me with this topic...Here is my question, I have about 14 plants that are about 15-16 inches tall and the ones i want to sex are about 40 days old. They all are an outdoor grow but in pots. I was wondering if I could take a few indoors and put them into 12/12 just for about 2 weeks or until the first signs of sex start to show.. But here is another QUESTION if i do that and after i get the sex is it ok for them to be put back outside into vegging???? Please can someone help me with these 2 questions?? I just dont want the 9 plants that i have that are white label white skunk regular sitting around until the end of july to wait to get rid of the males. The other 5 are Dutch Passion Purple #1 Feminized...So i kind of don't mind the Purple staying around....Any good advice would help me out greatly!! By 40 days, they should show preflowers. I've never had to sex my plants by cloning and putting the clone in 12/12, they always show preflowers after about 4 weeks of vegging. Are you sure there aren't any preflowers on your plants already?

They are exactly 35 days old i germinated them in paper towel method and when i had about almost an inch of tap root i planted them into there small pots on may 5th... Most of them popped out of soil the 1st night. But this is my third time growing and im pretty sure there is no signs of pre flowers on any of them..

you'll probably see them within the next week then without doing anything... i'd just leave them as is and keep on doing what your doing

Take a clone from each plant, label them then throw them under 12/12 directly and wait for sex, then when they show you can hack the males.
