Syringe Substitution
Hi there,
I'm in search of a new job, and there is a pretty good chance I will be taking a pre-employment drug screen sometime soon. Having been a heavy smoker for the past two years, it would take some time for me to detox and my best bet appears to be substitution.
I tried substitution about two years ago when I had a great job offer, but unfortunately it was a last minute idea and I did not practice. I used a non-lubed condom placed under my genitalia, but that was a total failure.
"I can't accept this."
"Uh, why not?"
"Its not warm enough."
"Uh..."
I can't afford to fail the next test, so I've been doing some research and trying to figure out what I should do. I was originally going to use non-lubed condoms again, but they seem to jostle a bit too much and mine was not quite warm enough.
Having access to some syringes and tubing, I put together a little system that I could wear around my thigh or chest. It is a little hard to sit with and is more noticeable if I wear it around my leg, but if I wear an undershirt and a dress shirt you cannot tell its around my chest!
The tubing may not even be necessary; I could just remove it, fill the syringes with the specimen, and then wrap the tip (no needle!) with tape to ensure it doesn't leak. As it is right now though, I have one 40ml syringe with tubing and one 40ml syringe without the tubing. I put this together before I knew how much urine I would need, however, and my searching seems to suggest I need at least 45ml, preferably 60ml.
I can place both syringes on my left side, under my arm, with the plunger fully extended and the syringes full of urine (or water, in the test runs.) I then wrapped one of the heating pads for your back/shoulder or whatever around the syringes, and then wrap "Tender Tape" self-sticking bandage around my chest. It holds everything in place perfectly, and I've worn it for an hour and a half around the house, getting up, sitting down, etc and it is not easily noticeable nor too uncomfortable. I tested it twice and the specimen tested at 98.9 degrees. I'm assuming 40ml won't be enough, so if I fit both syringes in I could probably take the tubing off and just pull them out, give the specimen, and slip them back in.
My only concern is that it is slightly uncomfortable/bulky and it makes it a little hard to bend over. I'm considering getting either a 2oz or 4oz bottle and trying it with that instead. I could wrap the heating pad around my inner thigh, around the bottle and then wrap the tape around that. I could slip it out, give my specimen, slip it back in and walk out.
So I guess I'm looking for any opinions/advice on what I should do. I've attached a small picture of the system(sorry for the finger), so let me know what you think!popefnord5 Reviewed by popefnord5 on .
