HI alll...smokers....need harvest question

i am waiting 3 ladys ......the tops r quite ready pistils 70%red...big bud .
but from the half plant n down the buds r really small and now fgetting bigger..
is it wise to leave it by itself ....or is better to crop the top bud n leave the lower buds of branches .....????

some advise plz?

you should be basing your harvest time based on trichome colour, not pistil colour...

that being said, yes you can harvest just the tops and let the bottom buds grow some more, lots of people do that actually.

I wouldn;t let them grow for too much longer, as there is a chance the plant will start to hermie after you harvest part of it

You need to look at the trichomes not the pistils...Text

If the top is done, you can chop it and leave the rest to grow. But again, check the trichomes with a pocket microscope. You can also take an up close photo with a digital camera, upload it and zoom in with your computer.
