US Government Patents Medical Pot
ok, this is current events per se. i'm sure some of you have seen this, but i figured it was interesting and it derails the governments argument that cannabis is "bad" and shows the boundlessness of their hypocrisy! (we all knew that existed though!
US Patent 6630507 - Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants
Application: filed on 2/02/2001
US Patent Issued on October 7, 2003
Assignee: The United States of America, as represented by the Department of Health and Human Services
And there you have it. The same federal government that steadfastly denies pot has any medicinal value also holds the medical patents on the plantā??s various therapeutic cannabinoids. And they arenā??t the only ones who do.
here is another link to patent storm.

US Government Patents Medical Pot
So doesnt that blow the schedule 1 drug description right out of the water?
If the US Government can obtain a patent for the purpose of profiting from the medicinal values of MJ, then how can they say it does not have any medicinal value?
This should be enough evidence for any Lawyer to clear a MMJ patient/client?
