Not sure if this counts as a DIY thingy because theres really no building or assembling of any kind, but ive been using a glass cigar tube from a Blenders Gold as a vaporizer, and it works really well. Ive quit smoking cigarettes and dont have money for a vap right now (ive just been concerned about lung health). The high is usually really clear, and it creeps up on you and lasts longer than smoking.

So for anybody who wants a healthier alternative to smoking, youre 6 dollars away from ESSENTIALLY vaporizing! Just drop some nug in, heat it up with a lighter, and shake it up. Ive found the shaking part to be essential so the nug comes in contact with the hot glass but doesnt sit long enough to burn and start smoking.

that is pretty much an even simpler version of a lightbulb vape. there just doesnt end up being as much volume as a lightbulb. kinda the one hitter of vapes. and they even sell $1 blunts in glass tubes too so its not even $6.
