(FBR?) Dilution questions-I have read every post on the stickie and several others)
If you don't feel like reading this all, skip to the bottom....I'm a newbie to this website, but would really appreciate any replies...It seems to me that the amounts of creatine, vitamin B, and water depend alot on the individual. I am a 20 year old female, 5'7, 125 lbs, and I'm guessing I have a low metabolism because I have been putting on weight recently and have a really low energy. I don't drink as much fluid as I should normally, and only urinate 2-3 times a day. I don't smoke as much as most of the people on here, it usually takes us about a month to get through 1/2 oz, and I only use a bong. About a week ago, a friend and I used a makeshift pipe and some resin and kb kief when we were bored with none around (not recommended). I don't know how that would change my thc levels. The last time I smoked was only 2 hits from a bong yesterday.
In March I was laid off from a job I had been working at for a year and have been constantly applying since then. I had quit smoking weed for a good month and a half and started back up again about 2 weeks ago because I was frusturated about not being able to find a job. I have a couple of job opportunities in a hospital and a medical laboratory, and I'm guessing they would use the strictest testing available (Mass Spec?), and am really worried about how a positive drug test there would affect the rest of my life. I remember reading somewhere that certain companies (Fortune 500) will share with all the other companies that you had a positive result, and you can't get hired in the future...I also plan on applying to medical or PA school in 2 years, and not sure how that would affect the background check, I don't know the laws....In both places, a diluted sample is considered positive, and they watch you pee, so I don't know if I could get away with using synthetic urine. I obviously can't use the whizzinatorNot sure if I will be called in for an interview or not, but I think I have an in and I would like to be prepared.
I read through the procedure on the dilution stickie and it makes alot of sense. I remember reading a post saying that heavier people naturally have higher creatine levels, and I know that taking too much creatine can cause kidney damage, which I want to avoid. So my questions are:
1. How much creatine should I take (I bought Creatine Monohydrate Powder) each day in order to have enough in my urine and not damage my kidney based on the above info?
2. If I have a really high concentration of electrolytes from sports drinks, will this throw up a red flag? Is it possible for alot of electrolytes to increase the specific gravity or the salt content of the urine past the normal range?
3. Aspirin upsets my stomach. I couldn't find a very clear explanation of what this is supposed to do for you. I know it thins your blood, but how would that help in a drug test? If this is absolutely necessary, is there something else that I can take
4. Do I need to drink a different amount of water because I normally don't drink or pee much, or should I be good with the 48 oz?metallicagirlie Reviewed by metallicagirlie on . (FBR?) forgot to mention that I am basically sedentary. Just sex, running up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment, and cleaning. Maybe that means I have a high metabolism and just an energy problem, who knows.

They are not supposed to be watching you unless they have reasonable suspiscion that you're cheating.
1. How much creatine should I take (I bought Creatine Monohydrate Powder) each day in order to have enough in my urine and not damage my kidney based on the above info? Just take the recommended dose thats on the bottle
2. If I have a really high concentration of electrolytes from sports drinks, will this throw up a red flag? Is it possible for alot of electrolytes to increase the specific gravity or the salt content of the urine past the normal range? I imagine it could but you'd have to drink a lot I think. 40 ounces of gatorade the morning of the UA will be fine.
3. Aspirin upsets my stomach. I couldn't find a very clear explanation of what this is supposed to do for you. I know it thins your blood, but how would that help in a drug test? If this is absolutely necessary, is there something else that I can takeIgnore the aspirin. It used to help for the immunassay tests but thats not true any more.
4. Do I need to drink a different amount of water because I normally don't drink or pee much, or should I be good with the 48 oz?Drink Gatorade.
If you can pickup some cheap thc test strips I would do that to make sure you're clean.
Subbing with synthetic urine can still work for you. Women have a real nice hiding spot that men don't.

Thanks...when I asked the water question, I mean fluids. Is there a way to be sure that 48 oz is enough but not too much? I have the simple dipsticks but I don't know how reliable they are, they were really cheap. And I don't think I could make a bag of pee fit up there w/out the pressure inside popping the bag haha. Not to mention the edges would be sharp...oww! How would that even work? Any ladies?

Well I wore an underwire bra, got DD's, and put a 2oz. bottle up underneath my breast wrapped in a hand warmer. The sample was clean, and the temp was checked as okay. Thank goodness for me that was just enough of a sample, so if I had to do it again I would make sure to have a 3oz. bottle. Good luck to you.

thanks for the tips...I think I'm going to go with dilution. I have only one more concern that I didn't think about before. I am on prescription Zolpediem (generic Ambien) and I know this will come up as a positive on the immunoassay. I'm under the impression that any positive samples from the immunoassay, which detects THC metabolites at or above 50ng/ml, are further analyzed using GC and MS, which can detect levels of 5ng/ml or lower. I have looked up and down the internet and cannot find any tests that I can buy that will detect 5ng/ml of thc, they are all for the standard of 50. Will dilution bring my thc metabolite levels below the 5? If I tell them beforehand that I am on the prescription do you think they will still do a GC/MS when my sample comes up positive for benzodiazepines and negative for thc in the immunoassay, then find the thc because of the higher detection ability? Will the dilution get that out of my system also? I'm just afraid that if I tell them about my prescription and they DON'T find it because of my diluted urine, it will throw up a red flag. I know it is expensive for them to use a GC test, so if I don't tell them about the prescription will they ask me if I'm on any medications before performing a GC/MS? Sorry for all of the questions, I just want to make sure there is no way I can screw this up, and I'm a science major so I have to hear the explanations to settle my mind

The GC/MS will only be performed on the panels that tested positive on the initial assay. So if the assay is negative for THC, but positive for one or more of the off-topic drugs, the drugs that tested positive will go to the GC/MS, not THC.

Thanks, that makes me feel way better. I guess I was just paranoid because I worked at a cargill lab for a year and used a gas chromatographer that tested for multiple acids, I just wasn't sure what kind of GC is used in drug testing.
