ok so im gonna start growing and i have a 150 watt cfl but i dont know if it has to be a certain color or what its just a normal color bulb just big as hell will this work and im only growing one plant:rastasmoke:

You can grow w cfl but I'm assuming that your bulb probably puts out about 7500 lumens of light depending on your grow space and set up. I'm growing using 4 43 watt cfls at 2700 lumens each, soft white but if you can get daylight spectrum it mimics the sunlight. I heard it's best to keep an 18 hr light and 6 dark and when you want your plant to flower or bud use 12 and 12 w no light getting to your plant. Keep temp between 75 and 85 degrees F

NO LIGHT AT ALL DURING DARK HOURS!!! Otherwise you will get a hermie which will seed your WHOLE crop. Also, keep the temps right otherwise you will get stretched plants, fluffy buds, and possible herms. Just my :twocents: though! :thumbsup:
