Ok bro i can put "Larry O.G." name on my buds too, doesnt mean anything. I dont go by names too much cuz most clubs name their own buds whatever they want. And there is no need to have 30 differrent OG's. Most of those cross breads are crap, they are not Really O.G.

O.G. should be a one-hitter quitter, not have to smoke a gram to feel it!:smokin:

I agree that you folks in cali. grow some very nice bud but honestly i would never pay those prices. In N.C. bud very similar without the fancy names but smell and taste awsome is half those prices. It is so easy to grow with a little reading and trial and error i just dont understand why the high prices. N.C. medicinal MJ is on the voteing block from what i hear and if its passed i sure hope i dont see our prices jump from 200 bux per O.Z. to 400 per O.Z. for top of the line bud. I aint knocking the Cali. growers because i do admire the awsome variety and potency of your bud. I have sampled several Cali. bud when i visited and i have to say hats off to you growers. Who is makeing all the money? Is it the growers or the dispenceries (sp) or who? I am just very curious.

because for all the talk about being "compassionate caregivers" these are really businesses that want to make a lot of $$$ off of sick people. they are basically the same people who were selling black market but now can do it with a license. hopefully as more dispensaries open here in soCal the competition will drive prices down. we can only hope, 'cause prices are way too high now. one grower told me it costs him an average of 130 to grow an oz.

the price will not go down cause there is still risk #1and the people who take the risks get paid for it

and 130 is after investments thousands in investments electricity is expensive

not to mention clubs cant sell less than blackmarket so it limits redistribution usually per some city or countycode.

back to the subject these prices are insane

and as for alot of dispensaries and there buds and unknowing growers breeding something with urkle thinking they have an urkle seed not knowing its an f1 hybrid and crossing that for seeds waters down strains and they acclimate to there environment causeing alot of buds to suck giving cali a bad name. catch a real cali strain from an og cali grower not a newb from this era of marijuana popculture

iv got a strain that one toke and ull forget u packed a bowl for a couple hours only to go to try to pack a full bowl. one hitter

sounds great. i've paid up to 80 for an 1/8 at a dispensary and didn't get those results. that's 640 per OZ!!! someone made a lot of $$$ off of that one. and yes you're right, pretty hard to buy and resell at that price.
