I got one of those. I don't know how accurate it is?...but, it is consistant. There's nothing electronic about it.

Mine ALWAYS read 7.0 everytime I put it into the soil? I suspected it wasn't working right?....so I ran a little test. I mixing some sweet pickle juice in with my regular 7.3 well water and then tested the soil. It read 6.5 to 6.7 ph!....perfect for soil!....and the plants turned out well, too.

I test 12 hours after watering.
Dutch Pimp Reviewed by Dutch Pimp on . PH meter questions I recently bought this pH meter and have some questions. Its the one thats electronic by Rapitest. 1. Does it need to be calibrated? I feel like that's a stupid question but I wanna makes sure I'm doing things properly. 2. If it does, I only have the ph 7.0 calibration fluid, is this sufficient? 3. How do I do this exactly? (I've researched a little bit but I'm still confused) 4. ANOTHER really dumb question I have is does it have an on off button/function? Rating: 5
