This is just going to be me, venting....but I need to try to put my anguish in words, just for my own sanity.

I have worked nearly 20 years now providing MMJ to sick people, in a state that does not recognize the significants that mj can provide. It has been a stugggle, trying to get acceptence of something I know can help people. I currently work with a cancer group and hospice group, unfortunately many I meet from the first group wind up in the second group.

In the last 24hrs, I picked up 6 new cancer patients; one gent about 67yrs old and the rest are all under 50. One women is 34yrs old has 4 young children and a very slim chance of living past her treatments. The other 4 are from 40-50 yrs old. It just seems to me, more and more of these patients are getting younger and younger.

The other major problem I'm seeing is the time lost and wasted by the medical community, misdiagnosing ailments before (usually many months later) that the problem is seen as cancer. It seems that cancer is never the FIRST diagnosis....always the second, with so much time wasted.

Why the hell are the worst cancers now showing up in the younger population? What the hell are we doing to ourselves as a society that it continues and continues, with no real cure or hope for so many?

It's one thing to work with older folks, like me, who have had full lives and seen thier children and even grand kids grow, but it is more and more young "healthy" people, who have not had a chance to see things thru that is really starting to bother me. Not sure there is an answer out there, just wish someone, anyone was looking harder for an end to the horror known as cancer.
