    First Indoor,Pics and Details

Hey there,im a 19 yr old toker and been toking for about 3 years now.

Well this is my first time trying an indoor grow, have helped some of my buddys when they're plants were in flowering stages. So I've got a decent amount of knowledge but im always open to opinions. My plants are about 28 days in,seeds I used were bag seed but from some really good nugs that came into town from cali.

This is my phototron set up,unfortunately i had recieved this as a gift but with no details about it.The bulbs in side are 40 watt Metal Halide bulbs and i have a little light rig set up with a Metal Halide bulb. All 3 of my plants are in half gallon pots, which i use to move my plants between the back deck and into the phototron. usually the 3 plants get 8 am to 8pm sun on my deck in one spot then go right into the phototron.

Soil is a mixture of miracle grow soil, soil from the garden outside and big portion of the soil in the phototron since im setting them in there once they start to flower,i have a digital and analog timer.

Water:Use a plastic 1 gallon jug, water them bout every 2 days or so.but with them being outside sometimes i give them a lil water when the soil gets really dry

Nutrients: Using Water Soluble All Purpose Miracle Grow plant food, used about a 1/2 teaspoon of plant food dilluted in a gallon of water. Used 4 Tbsp of this mixture per pot every 6 days since day 12.
    24% Nitrogen, 8% Phosphate, 16% Potash, .02% Boron, .07% Copper, .15% Iron , .05% Manganese, .05% Molybdenum, .06 Zinc

So far this is my best plant out of all 3. 6 inches tall, nice leaves, already on making sets of 7. unfortunately over the past couple days it's been acting a lil weird

Not every leaf but a couple of them have gotten these offcolor lightness like a light green/white splotches on the leaf and some near the tips. but it's only on like 3 leaves and no others.

My next best plant, stands at around 5.56, growing sets of 5,7 set is starting to come out.

My last plant and my biggest fighter,he's about 4.67 inches tall. He recently came under a MASSIVE attack by white flies. Came home from work and tons of his leaves were brown spotted and curling and mangled. Bought Ortho max and proceeded to prune and de-gg anywhere saveable. Hit them with the ortho, hour later hit them with pure water and did that 3 more times every other hour to make sure i got the chemicals and such off

Well this is my little project. Would totally appreciate any feedback and such.

    Hey ride~
Now Im pretty sure you shouldn't start feeding until the plant has reached the third or fourth node. Also I remember hearing a few things about mircale grow and how it is NOT efficient for MJ cultivation. On the other hand I have seen a few people pull it off but usually have extreme problems during flowering. I would say search mircale grow here on the forum and see what you can dig up, but other than that good job.

If you go into my first grow log (silver haze) I used MG and it did fine for me. I finally upgraded though and have not tossed at the dreadful MG. Just make sure to start with really LOW doses and work up. That stuff will burn them in a skinny minute. Also, make sure to flush out really well towards the end of flowering as that is when you will have all that build-up. Also, I'm pretty sure MG takes away from the taste of the cannabis. Longer cure time may have helped with that issue, but your still a ways away from that.

    Sorry got ahead of myself.

Yeah i read that too about miracle grow not being the best, but a friend of my dad's who grew mass amounts (400 or so plants, always had females and was 100% seedless unless he mated them ). I only used about a cup or 2 of that Miracle grow in my half gallon pots. i used about a half cup disperesed among the 3 smaller pots so they could get used to it,also had some of the soil from my phototron in there and some other fertizilizer i let sit a week before/during germination.

So you think Magnesium will get rid of the light greenish spots on the tips of the leaves, because it's only doing that on tips of the leaves on the 2nd node. Where would i be able to get some and what kind of dosage should i start off with at first?

Also another problem, some of the leaves on 2 of my plants are getting light yellowish greenish spots nd almost lil spots that look like somethings eating them. I used some Ortho Max on all 3 of them when I was fighting white flies off my 3rd plant this past sunday. I have yet to see any pests or anything on the tops or bottoms or anywhere on the leaves since then though.

One bit of good news is my 3rd plant is growing again,it had stopped due to all the trauma and stress. started growing again and is now on 7 leaves each

Checked on my guys today and on my biggest plant the bottom most 2 bladed leaves are turning yellow. It's starting to look like the 2nd plants leaves are about to start as well. Im not sure what to do,im thinking it's probably just not getting enough light.

could also be poor soil drainage... your soil doesn;t look like it has very much perlite in it.. your soil also looks pretty wet in all of your pictures, whats your watering schedule like?

    Plants:39 days
Light Cycle 16/8,been working it down as days progress towards 45-50
    Plant 1:14 inches

Been quite a hell of a week and a half since my last post,my dogs somehow managed to get my plants while they were on the deck. They managed to eat a bit of the leaves on each plant. As you can see in the first picture one of them completely topped my plant, ate the 2 budding leaves above the top node. They did it to my 2nd plant as well to but they didnt eat the top ones of the 3rd plant. Is this something that shouldnt have been done,or will it just grow out bushier on the sides till I flower it?
