If you get stoned once, your body reaches a limit of 100% THC. After that, it metabolizes it, and that is what is detected in a urine test. Smoking only once on a clean system takes about 48-72 hours to clear on average.

The tricky part in saying how long it stays in your system really depends how much THC your body is metabolizing and at what rate. The more you smoke, the more metabolites you will have, and the longer it takes to get clean.

I'd say that as a general rule, if you smoke every day for a week or longer, you will usually need about 30 days. I have heard of some people still showing positive up to 50 days after cessation of years of smoking, but most people will clean 30-45 days after smoking regardless of how long they have smoked.

There is an interesting yet simple program you can download that shows you how the THC metabolites compound and about how long it takes to get out of your system by how many times you got stoned on erowid.org. I used it years back so you might have to search around for it. :hippy:

And of course, its just an estimate, as how long it takes to get clean is very dependent on each individual's body chemistry.

i couldn't find the thing on erowid but thanks for the post it helped plus u cant really know how long itll take to get out of your system everyones bodys different
