I agree. I am currently growing in 5 gallon buckets outdoors. I drilled about 8 holes in the bottom evenly spaced (the holes were about 1/2" each in diameter), put about 1 1/2" of gravel in the bottom.
I would also recommend mixing some Perlite in with your soil. This will also help drainage. Good luck![SIZE=\"3\"][/SIZE]
