# of Harvests for 1 plant?

Hello everyone. Love the forum, been reading it since March! I started a box grow from the DIY Rubbermaid box thread http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs...b-growbox.html
Loved the idea, and now I have 3 boxes going! Anyway, I've been reading around trying to find out how many times you can harvest from one single plant. So far I haven't found any info in this site, but read somewhere else that you can get up to 3 harvests out of one plant if done correctly. Knowing there are many experts on this forum, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask!

Thanks bigtop for the thread link. Rusty knows what he's doing. So it looks like one can keep a plant re-vegging (new word for me) indefinitely?

I've re-vegged one plant up to 7 times. (8 harvests total) Could have continued, but I grow a few different strains and easily tire of smoking the same strain(s) for extended periods.

The more times you re-veg a plant, the more you'll want side lighting (CFL's focusing on the lowest internodes on the stalk) twords the last week or so of harvest. This aids in the formation of new growth for the re-vegging process. This isn't as important for squat indica dominates, as it is for sativa dom's that get no usable light that far down the plant. :thumbsup:
