Damn, I just got back from a sick show, my ears are ringing and I'm fucking baked. Gift of Gab and Lateef the Truth Speaker fucking tore it up, 2 encores! I forgot the show was even going on and went late and by the time I got there they were sold out, but I bought a ticket off a guy in the parking lot for the same price as the door price, so that fucking rocked \m/
I had a few beers, ran into a bunch of people I know, smoked some dude's weed and had a great fucking time. I can't hear for shit, but who cares?

I think I'll go play a little ratchet & clank before bed.

Gift of Gab is nice. Check out any song off "broken arrow" by blackalicious. Gab rips that shit.

I only heard a couple shits by Lateef and I don't remember them, so they didn't stand out to me.

Lateef is half of Latryx, the other half being Lyrics Born, who I missed the other week. But Lateef and Gift of Gab were onstage together the whole time rapping together. It was sick, they were on for almost 2 hours.

Oh yeah, have you ever heard of Mike Relm? He's a DJ travelling w/ GoG and Lateef. He's fucking crazy, his whole set is this multimedia deal with him scratching on 3 different decks, one of which is hooked up to a projector. Fucking phenomenal, mixed shit from ODB to Beck to Led Zeppelin. I like him so much I bought a T-shirt and his DVD. If you ever get a chance to see this guy, and you like turntabalism, go see him!
