Your success will also depend a lot on the kind of light you use. If they are 2 ft tall right now, they will be 4 or 5 ft tall when they are finished. They lights you are now using will not penetrate down anywhere that far. My recommendation is to use HPS lights rather than CFL

Ive been using a homeade hydroponic setup with 15 gallon rubbermaid tubs, and 3 plants per tub ( 4 tubs ). I have 2 48" FL Tubes, and also 2CFL Lights per tub. The plants are a little over a month old, and about 2FT+, and VERY BUSHY. My question is can I flower now? Also, if I were to flower now for 12 weeks ( 3 mos ), what would be a ballpark estimate on yield I could expect per plant?
