you should of used a 3 gallon pot a month in veg. transplanting in flowering is dangerous but it can be done with care. If you have a 5 foot plant you need a 5 gallon pot for healthy roots.

Irish Balcony/Window Grow
Hey, thanks for the advice, first time grow so I'll know all this stuff next time. It was something I nether actually planned for. I was watching The Union which is a great documentary about pot in the US and BC, I recommend everyone watch it and pass it on, I showed it to my mother, think its after changing her view on legalisation.
Anyway after work one day I just decided you know what, I'll grow some, just for a test and here I am.
Sorry your probably wondering how the plants are doing with no pics and all, well the truth is the last couple of weeks, there has been hardly and sun at all. In fact here in Ireland we've had the worst July in 50 years, I can't remember a day it didn't actually rain.
The plants obviously haven't taken to this well and growth has been minimal. Things have started to pick up again though. The smell is getting quite a bit stronger, which I'm very happy with. There are pic's coming this weekend I promise.
So now for the bad news, I'm going to harvest come the 25th of this month regardless of how far I am through flowering, I must move out, and moving with cut drying flowers is a lot more easier and safer then shipping 4 foot trees across town.
Then hopefully a few weeks down the line I can give you the smoke report, which I'm really looking forward to.

please man dont chop them until they are done properly, you will regret it.the smoke will only be a light head buzz if you harvest too early... find some one with a van and tie the plants up and pop a black sack or cardboard box over them, then smuggle them accross town at night...all your hard work could be ruined if you dont.. never just go by the 8 week flowering rule, especially when your using the sun in ireland, they could take 10-12 weeks to be ready..lol:rastasmoke:

and if your moving across town, maybe this is and opportunity to set up a little flowering room to finish them off and really make this first grow worth your while. if your moving you have a reason to have all this shit packed into a car or van, and plus, i wont have anything to read anymore. :stoned:

Ha ha, we'll see about that, I'll have to talk my mate into carting them though, don't think he'll like the idea. We're approaching 8 weeks now, next Monday I think, must check.
Anyway here are some pics.

Hope you like.

by the looks of them pics they are a few weeks away from being ready. they are still too geen to harvest.wait until the plant starts to change colour.and the buds will fatten out more over the last few weeks. dont ruin all your hard work by chopping too soon. if there is a way to smuggle them ..do it
